The Human Resources Department’s function is to plan, implement and deliver human resources support. Such services and support include, but are not limited to: developing personnel policies and procedures, employment, compensation, employee relations, training, and other employee services. The staff of the Human Resources Department is dedicated to providing quality and professional services for the citizens and employees. The employees of Canadian County support not only the 8 elected officials, but serve over 139,926 citizens. The elected officials include the Board of County Commissioners, Assessor, Treasurer, County Clerk, Court Clerk and the Sheriff. In these offices, over 300 employees work diligently to serve each citizen and visitor in the most efficient and courteous manner displaying the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and respect for others.

  • All original completed forms should be submitted directly to the Human Resources department. A copy of the completed form will be retained in the employee’s file and the original will be submitted to the appropriate agency.
